Sex and Your Astrological Chart

When sex and your age bump into one another, life can become difficult and disruptive for both you and your partner. Astrology has always provided tremendous information about your personal and intimate life.

Well, I see that this title got your attention rather quickly, no? All kidding aside, sex is an important matter in all of our lives regardless of age. There are topics and concerns within a relationship such as intimacy, intensity, frequency, and the ability or inability to achieve the completion of the act of love making. These are all matters and concerns that can be addressed through your astrological chart and with a competent astrologer.

As we get older, and we all do, so many aspects of our lives change naturally, as they should. However, as our bodies change so do our relationships. As an example, there is the inevitable change in the production of hormones for both women and men. With this change often comes fear, insecurity, and even bewilderment, and it is essential that these concerns are openly discussed. Yet from my experience, many of my clients do not feel confident enough to openly discuss this part of their lives with their partner for fear of ridicule or embarrassment.

When this type of breakdown in communication occurs in a relationship one may find or feel that they are all alone. Loneliness is often the result of such a breakdown which only increases the anxiety and fear the client may be experiencing. Then, rather than discussing such an intimate subject with their partner, friend or therapist, the person will throw themselves into their work. There are other activities such as family responsibilities, hobbies, or sports in which one may find an escape; however this does not last for very long.

There are a number of professionals one can contact when met with such a personal concern, such as a minister, family counselor or therapist, personal physician or professional astrologer. A qualified astrologer is given a complex assortment of information found within the natal chart. It is within this chart that the astrologer can focus on a timeline of incidents and potential. Within this context the client does not have to go into too much detail unless they want to, which helps to alleviate some of their burden.

For far too long many people, including astrologers, have directed their attention to the eighth house for matters of sex. This is more than likely due to the relationship of the sign Scorpio, and its ruler Pluto. There is some legitimacy to this belief but there are many other components that are more often than not overlooked or discarded altogether. It does not have to be this way, and I am working to bring to light the ways in which a client can become comfortable and feel safe in knowing that there is help for them through the science of astrology.

Whether it is through one's early values, conditioning or individual needs, the development of our sexuality is a life long process. For the most part we grow in this delicate and intimate area of life, but not without some bumps in the road at the very least. Intimacy and its shortcomings can lead to positive growth and development, but often their are too few options with which to choose from. Astrology is at the forefront in helping the client find the cause and resolution to such sensitive subjects and their dysfunctions.
