What am I talking about? Well, a keyword like "bicycle shop in Tulsa OK" isn't going to be very hard to get on the first page of Google, but, do you think that people typing in that keyword might be targeted customers for a bike shop in Tulsa? You betcha.

It's also critical that you get your business into the local listings on Google Maps and Yahoo Maps. Again, targeted local searches that are looking for your business need to find you. You don't have to compete with the big guys. Simply dominate your local market.

So, how do you do all this techno heavy marketing guru stuff? Well, the reality is that local SEO shops are springing up across the country. That geek that used to live in his Mom's basement is your new best buddy, he's going to make you a lot of money. And the good news is yes, you can afford him, it could be the best investment you ever make.
